“Some of you have been given children that are not quite what you pictured on their birth day. You are a parent to a gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender (glbt) child. Some have accepted your children and take  no issue  with their orientation. For some of you,  however, things are not going very well.  There’s distance, frustration, anger, shame and even fear.  You are the ones I am addressing.”

Check out this letter that my friend, Kathy Verbiest Baldock, has written to Moms and Dads of GLBT youth.
