National Center for Transgender Equality – this Washington, D.C.–based advocacy organization addresses information relevant to gender-nonconforming and transgender travelers. It features a particularly comprehensive guide to airport security that addresses concerns related to potentially intrusive TSA screening procedures.

14 Stories – a boutique event planning firm specializing in producing legal LGBTQ weddings, although they work with all progressive-minded couples.

Rainbow Wedding Network – trusted LGBTQ wedding resource.

Queer BFF – sometimes you just want a friend. QueerBFF was developed for those in the LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) Community and our straight allies looking for platonic relationships.

Eva – a paid app helps users train their voices to sound more feminine or masculine (respectively). EVA (Exceptional Voice App) was developed by speech pathologist Kathe Perez, who works exclusively with members of the trans community.

Quist – a free app for iPhone, iPad, and Android phones that brings lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) and HIV history to life. Each day when a user opens the app on their smartphone or tablet, they will see the events from LGBTQ and HIV/AIDS world history that occurred on that date.

Trans Lifeline – a grassroots hotline and microgrants organization offering direct emotional and financial support to trans people in crisis – for the trans community, by the trans community.
